Fireworks & Night Drone Show Photography Experience

Get ready for an electrifying evening of light, color, and excitement as we photograph one of summer’s most spectacular nighttime events!

Fireworks can create breathtaking images, but capturing those dazzling bursts of color and energy in the night sky can also be surprisingly challenging. This workshop is designed to help you move beyond snapshots and learn how to create dramatic, vibrant fireworks images you’ll be proud to display.

Join us as we provide live instruction during an exciting fireworks event, demonstrating techniques for capturing the beauty and excitement of the grand "Rockets' Red Glare" show. You’ll learn camera settings, timing techniques, composition strategies, focusing in low light, and how to create stunning long-exposure images that showcase the color, movement, and energy of the evening.

New this year: Before the fireworks begin, a spectacular nighttime drone light show will illuminate the sky! This exciting addition creates a completely different photographic challenge and offers unique opportunities to capture synchronized formations, colorful patterns, and creative long-exposure effects before the fireworks even begin.

During this hands-on workshop we’ll cover:

• Fireworks camera settings and exposure techniques
• Long exposure photography
• Manual focus techniques for night photography
• Composition and framing strategies
• Timing your shots for peak action
• Capturing drone formations and light patterns
• Creative techniques for unique visual effects

For the best experience, a sturdy tripod is highly recommended along with a remote cable release or wireless trigger. These tools will help minimize camera shake and allow you to create tack-sharp long exposures.
