Japanese Mahjong Tournament

Queen City Riichi is thrilled to announce its 2025 Japanese Mahjong Local Tournament!

📍 Location: Downtown Main Library
📅 Date: Saturday, September 6
🕑 Time: 12 PM-6 PM; finalists play one extra hanchan at 7:30 PM

This is a low-stress event designed to give folks a taste of organized tournament play — if you know yaku and furiten, you are ready!
Four finalists will get to play on an automatic mahjong table and each will win a prize of their choice, including a QCR backpack!

Cost:
- Free for paid QCR members
- $10 for non-paid members (please send payment to our treasurer to confirm your spot)

Capacity: Limited to 16 players — sign up early to secure your seat!
