Not your regular dance class. Original choreography. This is the rehearsal room.
This July, we’re opening a 3-week training-led choreography block in Amsterdam, created and led by Jenny S., set to Dance by Slayyyter.

Across three sessions, we’ll work in heels on technique, movement, musicality, staging and performance quality — building one choreography together with the same group each week before finishing with a final filmed run-through.

This is a rehearsal-style workshop, with technique woven into the process. Each session will break down the foundations that support the choreography, including heels walks, turns, poses, safe floorwork, focus, placement and performance quality.

A space to spend time with the choreography, work through the technical details, build confidence through repetition and explore what happens when movement becomes performance.

#### Schedule

Wednesday July 15, 22, 29th 20:00–22:00

#### Location

Bel Campo Loft, Amsterdam

#### The Choreography

Bold, playful, unapologetic and full of attitude, Dance by Slayyyter brings club-pop energy and sharp performance references into the room.
We are not just learning steps.

Each session will break down foundational mechanics, including heels walks, turns, poses and safe floorwork, before weaving them directly into the routine.

The choreography will focus on the details that bring a piece to life: where you look, how you move through the space, how the group holds the energy together and how performance is built through intention.

This is your chance to take up space, commit to the mechanics and perform with intention.

#### The Format

This is a closed 3-week choreography block.
The same group works together across all three sessions, allowing the piece and your technical skills to develop progressively each week.

Session 1
We begin building the choreography, establishing the foundational technique, movement quality, musicality and performance intention of the piece.
Session 2
We continue developing the choreography, working through technical details, staging, placement, timing and group energy.
Session 3
We rehearse, refine and perform the piece together, finishing with a final filmed run-through.

#### Who This Is For

This choreography block is best suited to dancers with some prior dance experience who want to develop a piece over time rather than learn choreography in a single drop-in class.
You do not need to be a professional dancer, but you should feel comfortable learning choreography, working with musicality and moving in a group setting.
Heels are part of the style of the block.
