McKittrick Canyon Trail / Guadalupe NP

Fee: $10 or Annual Park Pass
We will meet at the Lowe’s at 12100 Montana Avenue. Please arrive by 6:00 am so we can depart on time at 6:15 am. We should arrive at the Mckittrick Canyon parking lot about 2 hours later and hit the trail shortly after that. It is approximately 3.5 miles to The Grotto. This is a fairly easy and flat hike, also an easy trail to follow. The Notch which is about 5 miles from the trailhead is where we will stop, have lunch, and turn around. We should be able to see some fall colors coming in.
Dogs not welcome as this is a national park.
If you carpool, please consider contributing towards gas to the driver you travel with.

For safety reasons we hike together and support each-other as a group/team, with the leader in control. We stop, rest, eat, etc. together. No one will be allowed to hike ahead at any time. If you are unwilling to comply with this please do not sign up. I reserve the right to remove any one from this hike.
