The Secret Garden at Leu Gardens!

Please join us for a discussion of The Secret Garden, by Frances Hodgson Burnett, in beautiful Leu Gardens!

We will meet in the front entrance (where tickets are sold), then meander into the gardens to find the spot where the literary spirit moves us. (Will it be in the Rose Garden? The Idea Garden? The Butterfly Garden? Who knows!) Jessica has several free passes, but if you have a Leu Gardens membership or extra free passes, please bring them along!

Please also bring the beverage of your choice, and (if you like) a picnic-style dish to share. (If you are bringing a dish, please post it in the comments below so we don't all bring the same thing.) Also bring something to sit on such as a picnic blanket or a lightweight, portable chair. Note that there is a coffee shop near the front entrance if you'd like to buy coffee there.

We can't wait to discuss this beautiful book in this beautiful setting!

(Please note that our February meeting is being held in a private home. To receive an invitation, you must be a book club member who regularly attends meetings. In 2026, we will be transitioning into holding more meetings in private homes, so please make sure to attend public meetings in order to become a regular member!)
