Calming and strengthening the nervous system through the power of sacred song, sound healing, and compassionate group resonance.

Sacred Sound Circles are a blend of sound bath, devotional singing, and support circle ceremony - lead by experienced group facilitator, singer and sound healing practitioner Jessica Gaines.

Sacred Sound Circles start with a sweet moment of group connection. Collectively, we have the chance to hold space for each other as we each briefly check in with the group, sharing our name and either something that we’re carrying that we wish to release, or a quality of the heart we wish to cultivate. This is a no-pressure opportunity to be held and heard by the collective and to hold space for others in the group. This is “sitting in circle.”
There is no obligation to share, and you may always pass if you so wish.
Once we have attuned to each other in this way, participants are invited to remain sitting in circle or may lay down to fully relax and receive - giving the nervous system permission to begin to down-regulate. This calm deepens as the vibrations of sound healing instruments lull you into a state of ease and deep relaxation. Soothing of the body and mind is supported as spirit is incorporated through healing song mantras from various traditions, accompanied by the sounds of crystal bowls and hypnotically relaxing droning instruments. Opening to Divine Love, Jessica weaves touching, spiritual and powerful musical toning throughout the experience - following where sound and energy want to go. These spiritual songs and sounds bring the sacred into the space and into our systems - deepening our sense of safety, ease and acceptance.

Circles theses days usually have 10-20 participants. Most folks come to the circle through ways other than Meetup. So don't let the low numbers in Meetup fool you.
