We are excited to be in NYC and are bringing with us some core members of the Polkadot team as well as some prominent local guest speakers.

Speaker Profiles

Jake Brukhman, MD and CEO @ CoinFund

Jake is Managing Director & CEO at CoinFund, a blockchain-focused cryptofund founded three years ago as one of the world’s very first diversified portfolios of cryptoassets, regarding cryptocurrencies and tokens as a radically new asset class.

Patrick Nielsen, CTO & Co-Founder @ Clovyr

Patrick led development for J.P. Morgan’s open source blockchain projects including Quorum and Constellation, and sat on the firmwide Cryptography Review Board. A software and security researcher by training, he has held executive positions in information security and privacy at companies large and small.

Jack Platts, Head of Communications @ Web3 Foundation

Jack is based in Berlin, Germany where he is on the team launching the Polkadot protocol and coordinating the integration of other protocols within the Web3 tech stack. Jack leads various community and communications efforts in the domain of decentralized technologies at the Web3 Foundation.

Björn Wagner, Founder & CCO @ Parity Technologies

Prior to Parity, Björn gained extensive expertise in the fields of industrial automation and digitization. Currently serving as Chief Commercial Officer, Björn is driving the company's commercialization, partnership and product efforts.

Robert Habermeier, Co-Founder @ Polkadot

Robert Habermeier is a Thiel Fellow and co-founder of Polkadot, a platform that connects public and private blockchains to power a web 3.0. He has a research and development background in blockchains, distributed systems, and cryptography. A longtime member of the Rust community, he has focused on leveraging the language’s features to build highly parallel and performant solutions.

We’ll have time for questions, discussion, and networking. Drinks and snacks will be served.
