About us
Interested in meeting with others to explore Christianity or find out what the Bible is all about?
Come along to "Taste & See."
Taste & See is an opportunity to explore the timeless, good news of Jesus over a series of meals.
Over four weeks, we’ll use four different meals as a way of explaining the Bible's big story.
Each evening there'll be a short talk - about 15 minutes - which doesn't assume any prior knowledge of the Bible.
Over great food, there'll be a chance to discuss and ask your questions - no question is too stupid or too hostile.
If you don't want to contribute, you're free to eat, sit quietly and just listen in. Absolutely no pressure.

Taste & See: exploring Christianity and the Bible over good food
The Emmanuel Meeting House, Narrow Lewins Mead, Bristol, GBWhat to expect?
Join us for four evenings, where we'll use four different meals to explore Christianity and the Bible's big story.
Each evening, we'll gather round tables - with others exploring Christianity - to eat & chat.
Whilst you eat, there'll be a short talk (about 15 minutes) exploring the Bible's core claims - so that you can learn more about Christianity, Jesus and how they're relevant to life now.
There'll be chance to ask questions of the person speaking and discuss at your tables.
There's no question too simple or too hostile.
If you'd rather not ask questions or talk much - it's totally fine to just listen-in quietly.
