Whitney Canyon Falls Trail (SCV)

3 mile out-and-back trail in Newhall (Santa Clarita), Ca that ends at a waterfall that may or may not be active. Generally considered an easy route with 255 feet of elevation gain. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash. This is a wide track trail through the canyon that becomes a single track 1.2 miles up. The trail also crosses several seasonal streams.

The streams are active currently. Be prepared to cross streams/ get wet! The waterfall was active as of April 6th, but may be dry by this event.

Please bring personal water, as well as waterproof shoes or shoes you don’t care about getting wet. If anyone is interested in carpooling together down to Santa Clarita, please call out in the comments and we can see about arranging carpool(s).
