Our latest Adventure Seekers hike will be to Mossy Ridge Trail on Sunday, Oct 26, meeting at the trailhead at 1 PM. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 2 h 19 min. Trail description from AllTrails:
The Mossy Ridge Trail Loop is a fascinating hike through a deciduous forest full of oak, hickory, beech, and maple trees. The loop winds up and down wooded hills and hollows crosses several springs and open meadows and offers peaceful, picturesque spots for a break. Those who enjoy wildlife will be pleased to see deer and a variety of bird species throughout the park.
