WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:
In this hands-on workshop at Docs In Progress, you'll craft a cinematic cross-country promo using real documentary footage from New York to San Francisco. You’ll get to play with gorgeous landscapes, drone shots, music, and voiceover while learning how to edit, fine-tune audio, color grade, and export your final piece.

You’ll work directly on our workstations under the guidance of Gregory F. Maassen, an award-winning Dutch-American filmmaker and our very own Board Chair. He brings a rich depth of expertise and a huge heart for our community to the workshop. Best of all? DaVinci Resolve is completely free to download, so your creative momentum won't stop when class ends.
Come take the journey with us. You’ll walk away with a finished promo and a powerful new skill in your creative toolkit!
