Hello World! New Frontiers in AI

We will be having a virtual meeting to start this group. The first hour will be mainly sharing the virtual space. While we are comfortable, it will be nice to introduce ourselves then. We can briefly outline our background and the new frontiers we are interested in, including new technologies and/or AI. Then we can say a few things about recent news that excited or intrigued us in this space, including the source of the info.
