Haskell Meetup: Lightning Talks and Hack Night 2

Details

Again, thank you to devhub for so graciously hosting us. Their patronage of the "functional arts" is appreciated, and we will remember this act of kindness once Haskell takes over the world.

The event is hosted at Devhub (www.devhub.ca) .
Trying to find other interesting developer events in Toronto? Check out this meetup group: https://www.meetup.com/Devhub/

This is the second meetup in the series, and we look to build on strong presentations from last time, particularly Ben Hart's clip-queue (a pure Haskell implementation of a clipboard manager), and Andrew Blinn's code transformation GUI implemented in racket (A+ for a cool app, B- for language choice).

We are looking for volunteers to present a round of lightning talks (feel free to reach out to me directly on here or at jonathan_lorimer@mac.com). Be it a technical talk, a presentation of your pet project, or even just a discussion addressing an interesting article or topic.

Talks:
Practical introduction into type level programming with Haskell - Boris Rozinov
Intro to Web Dev with Haskell - Jonathan Lorimer and Ben Hart

NOTE: the room we have reserved only has capacity for 12 attendees, so if you are not able to make the event PLEASE mark yourself as not going so that other people may attend.
