Haskell Meetup: Reader and ReaderT Workshop

Details
Hello everyone,
I am really excited to announce that we will be hosting our first workshop. Special thanks to Diogo Biazus for leading the session, and Coinberry for hosting!
A little bit about our hosts:
Coinberry is a Toronto-based, FINTRAC-registered, digital asset trading platform, offering members the simplest and quickest way to transact with Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin. Similar to Expedia, Coinberry secures the best cryptocurrency prices from trusted exchanges globally using its proprietary algorithm. Coinberry was the first cryptocurrency trading platform in Canada to introduce 0% funding fees and 0% withdrawal fees. We are building the crypto bank of the future!
This workshop is targeted at intermediate Haskell developers who are interested in moving beyond the basics of functional programming, and beginning to tackle managing state in a purely functional way.
Schedule:
6:00 – Socialize and get ready
6:10 – Workshop intro, and overview of Coinberry’s use case for Haskell
6:15 – Environment setup and get the code to compile
6:35 – Coding in pairs through the tutorial
7:15 – Debrief and final thoughts
7:30 – Grab drinks if there is interest
