*Evening* Piestewa Peak Summit Trail #300 – Fireworks Hike

Join us for a memorable evening hike up Piestewa Peak Summit Trail #300, a short but challenging 2.4-mile round trip with about 1,200 ft of elevation gain. We'll aim to reach the summit in time to catch a panoramic view of fireworks lighting up the entire city of Phoenix—an unforgettable sight from one of the best vantage points in town.

Important note: Due to a family death, I won’t be able to lead this hike. However, you're in great hands—Carlos Mora will step in as hike lead and make sure everything runs smoothly in my absence.

This trail is steep and rocky, so wear proper hiking footwear. Trekking poles can help with the climb; don’t forget to bring plenty of water. Plan to arrive 15–20 minutes early, as parking can be tight, especially on busy evenings. We love dogs; however, they are not allowed on the summit trail.
You'll hang out at the top to enjoy snacks and the fireworks, so bring something to munch on. This is a great chance to get a solid workout, catch amazing views of Camelback Mountain, the Dreamy Draw area, and downtown Phoenix, and celebrate the evening with our hiking community.
