Sunrise Hike: Two Bit Peak via Charles M Christiansen Trail 100

Details
Come join us for a sunrise hike at Two Bit Peak (also called Dixie Peak) in the Phoenix Mountain Preserve! We will hike 4.2 miles total and go up about 990 feet. This hike will take about 2 hours and 15 minutes.
We are starting early to watch the sunrise. Morning is a great time to hike because it’s cooler outside.
### 🥾 What to Expect:
- This is a moderate hike. It has some steep parts, loose rocks, and a little bit of climbing.
- The trail has no shade, so be ready for sun after it rises.
- Wear good hiking shoes.
- Trekking poles can help on the steep parts.
- Bring plenty of water to stay safe and healthy.
### 🕕 Be Early:
- Please get to the trail 15–20 minutes early. Parking can be busy.
- For the best directions, click the map in the “location” section of the event. Copying and pasting the address might take you to the wrong place.
### 🐶 Dogs:
- Dogs are welcome, but they must be on a leash.
### 🍳 After the Hike:
We usually go out to eat breakfast together after the hike! I’ll let everyone know where we’re going and take a head count, so the restaurant has enough space for our group.
