Come join us for a fun hike on the **Desert Parks Trail Loop**! This trail is **6.5 miles** long and takes about **3.5 hours** to finish. We will go up about **862 feet**, so there are a few hills, but the views of the desert are beautiful. You will see rocky paths, desert plants, and lots of open space.
For the most accurate directions, **please click on the map in the “Location” section**. Sometimes copying and pasting the address will not take you to the right place.
Please bring **water**, wear **good hiking shoes**, and feel free to bring **trekking poles** if you like using them. It’s also a good idea to arrive **15–20 minutes early**, because parking can be different each day depending on how many people are on the trail.
After every hike, we usually go out for **breakfast together** at a nearby restaurant. I will share where we are going after the hike and take a head count so I can make sure the restaurant has enough space for our group. I’m always open to suggestions, so if you know a good spot near the trail, please let me know!
