Tom's Thumb Trail to Lookout Trail

Join us for a scenic hike along the Tom's Thumb Trail to Lookout Trail! This 4.6-mile hike takes about 2 hours and 43 minutes, with a 1,325-foot elevation gain. The trail offers stunning desert views and fascinating rock formations, though there’s little shade, so make sure to bring plenty of water and sun protection. The final stretch to the lookout is rocky with cacti along the way, so sturdy footwear is recommended, and trekking poles could be helpful. Please aim to arrive 15-20 minutes early as parking may be tight depending on how busy the trail is. Dogs are welcome on a leash. See you there!
