See all- Paddle Board & Kayaking – Lower Salt RiverPhon D Sutton Recreation Area, Fort McDowell, AZ
Join us for a laid-back, scenic paddle down the Lower Salt River, one of Arizona’s best spots for floating, wildlife watching, and soaking in the desert landscape. This stretch of river is calm and beginner-friendly—perfect for first-timers and experienced paddlers.
We’ll be floating from Water Users Recreation Area to Phon D Sutton, a route that takes about 4 hours. Expect peaceful waters, great views, and good company along the way.
📍 Meetup Time & Place: We’re meeting at Phon D Sutton Parking Lot at 6:00 AM. This gives us time to drop off cars, carpool up to Water Users with our boards/kayaks, and get everything inflated and ready. The goal is to be in the water by 7:00 AM to beat the heat and the crowds!
