Another Storytelling Night. Until You're In The Room.
Most of us can point to moments that changed the direction of our lives.
On Friday 28 August, seven people will step onto the stage and share true stories about the moments that changed everything for them.
This show is headlined by Dean Clifford.
When Dean was born with Epidermolysis Bullosa, doctors told his parents he would likely never reach adulthood. Today, he's a speaker, athlete and advocate who has spoken to people around the world. His story isn't about having an easy life or overcoming every obstacle. It's about what happens when the future people expect for you isn't the one you end up living.
Alongside Dean, you'll hear six more stories from people whose lives took turns they never saw coming.
Some might be difficult. Some might be hopeful. Some might stay with you after the night is over.
If you've been to EVRY1 before, you'll know we do things a little differently. When a story ends, nobody walks on stage immediately. That would be doing a discredit to the weight of what we all just heard. Instead, we sit it for just a little bit. These people's stories matter.
By the end of the night, you'll have heard seven different lives, seven different journeys, and probably seen yourself in some of them too.
And as always, there's the little 'gift' at the end.
