Bike Ride beyond the Near North on the Northern Strand

I bike a lot and thought a bike event with the group would be a good way to mix things up from dinners and trivia. Please read the description on this, it's especially important.

The Northern Strand is the longest path for "the Near North" going (currently) from Lynn to Everett. The total distance is just shy of 20 miles round trip. Here is the route: https://www.komoot.com/tour/1291433556

This route is mostly on the path but there are some small segments riding on the street with traffic. This is in Medford after enjoying the Malden River. The route also goes right through Malden center and crosses some busy streets as well.

For the meeting spot I'm picking the benches next to spencer street in Lynn (near Market Basket). There is plenty of street parking around there. On google maps it says the parking lot across the street is for the path but this is not correct, I'd recommend parking on the street.

I'm timing this so that if folks are interested in getting some lunch on the way back we'll have a few good choices.
