Karma Police
Details
There is certainly an original definition of karma, but this word has come to represent something much broader than its origins. We use it every day, often without noticing, as if we all agree on what it means.
Why did it take on such a wide shape? What is it actually pointing to? How does it work in practice? And what do we really mean when we say we want to “clear” it?
How does an external, often vague standard of right and wrong make its way into our very personal, subjective decision-making and lived experience?
At what point does something outside us become something we carry inside?
