What we’re about
Friends in Need is looking for volunteers to serve at our regular feeding program in New York City at Tompkins Square Park. We hold the program every Saturday at 11:30 am on 7th Street (between Avenue A & B).
Our program is by far an efficient way to help people in need in our community. We are able to feed at least 150 people within an hour! We typically give out a burger, drink and some snacks. From time to time, we hand out winter accessories and toiletries.
If you are looking to do some volunteer work that will not take too much time of your weekend, then we encourage you to join us!
