Armchair Adventure – No-Homework Book Group (online)
OnlineBook lovers – join us from the comfort of your own home.
For our next book group, rather than focusing on one book, we will discuss and compare notes on our own reading on the theme of Christmas or holiday reads – however you interpret that!
No set reading. No pressure. Just chat and community.
You are welcome to join in even if you haven’t opened or finished a book recently. This is an opportunity to share your reading discoveries and pick up some new suggestions. A relaxed, informal, and social way to connect with other readers.
Our Book Group is drop-in friendly, attendance is flexible, and you join-in when you choose to, no guilt.
We aim to center the experience around relaxed and informal discussion, themes, and community rather than finishing chapters. We value open dialogue, diverse viewpoints, and thoughtful exploration.
Enjoy lively conversation, and a Zoom room full of people who care about ideas, ethics, and being human in the world.Kindly facilitated by our volunteer book group facilitators Gillian, Jenny, and Shelley.
We would like to foster a respectful and brave online space, where everyone feels welcome. We ask participants to be open to different interpretations and life experiences, and to listen actively with curiosity.
