Hey IMRG 1960, we have a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!
As many of you know, a new Indian Motorcycle Dealership has opened in Murrieta, Indian Motorcycle of Temecula, a part of Temecula Motorsports. This is a full service multi-brand dealer with parts and service. They carry the full line of Indian Motorcycles, Indian products, and Indian trained service technicians.
Your Vice-President and I have been meeting with them and they have welcomed IMRG 1960 to affiliate with their dealership! We have spoken with the regional and national IMRG officers and they have helped us to make it happen! We will be keeping our IMRG number (1960) and changing our name to: IMRG 1960, Temecula, CA. We have a home dealership again! They have agreed to support us, give us space for meetings, help sponsor events, throw us a get together now and then, and give active/paid members a 10% discount on parts, accessories and apparel. We have agreed to help out with their Indian events like the Factory Test Ride days and other Indian related events.
We are very excited about our new relationship and having a dealership behind us again as an IMRG. We will be looking to meet and start rides from our new location, but will make accommodations for those rides headed back south for those of you who live in the south. Our dealership is in the process of ordering new rockers for our vests that say “Temecula, CA” to replace our “North County” rockers and they are ordering us a new banner. There has also been talk about a new custom back patch in the future.
Our Treasurer is working on keeping the membership roles up to date and we have committed to providing a current list of paid members to the dealership. We will be looking for updating member information and also including your bike year, make, model, and vin# (this is an Indian corporate thing). Make sure your info and membership is up to date so that you can enjoy the benefits and discount!
The dealership is located just off the I-15 in Murrieta at 26860 Jefferson Ave, Murrieta, CA 92562. We will be starting our September ride from our new location. Congratulations everybody, we have a new home!
