Desert Discovery Ride

Join us on our first desert ride of the season, and it's a great one! We will depart from our new dealership at Indian Motorcycle of Temecula (at Temecula Motorsports) Meet at 7:30 for a 0800 KSU time. We will head out Hwy 79 to Hwy 78 through the San Felipe grade and down through the Anza Borrego park. We will round the south end of the Salton Sea and grab some lunch in Westmorland or Brawley (and some fuel). We will continue up the east shore of the Salton Sea to Salvation Mountain and Slab City, then make a stop at Bombay Beach to view the sculptures. We will continue our circumnavigation of the sea and run up to Yucca Valley for the night. Accommodations will be announced shortly, our IMRG 1960 experts are hard at work on those!
Day 2 we will tour Pioneer Town, a western movie set town near Yucca Valley. We may ride through Joshua Tree National Park if it is open. There is a fee required. If it is closed down we will continue on another awesome ride down to Palm Springs, then up the Palms to Pines Hwy back over the mountains to home. Lots of awesome roads, interesting sights and destinations, and fun, fun, fun! Don't miss this one - it's the most fun you can pack into a weekend!
