A warm welcome to AbFabCam!

Just a few points to mention so there are no surprises.

We keep our membership current so we expect members to have participated in one of our events within two months of joining. If not, we will assume the group is not for you and will simply remove you. You can always come back if you want to try again.

Once you have attended 5 events you will be asked twice a year (April and October) to contribute towards the cost of the Meetup fees. This is currently £5 but this could increase.

Rest assured that behaviour such as attempts to use the group as a free dating site, signing up to events and then not turning up without explanation, pestering members with unwanted messages are examples of behaviour that are not tolerated and result in swift removal from the group.

You will see a variety of events’. Some get booked up within a few hours. It's always worth going on the waitlist as sometimes events are repeated. However, please observe the following guidelines when booking a place:

- Only book if you are fairly certain you will be able to attend, don’t just grab a place so you can decide later.

- If something comes up that prevents your attendance, give as much notice as possible - not the night before! Obviously there are things that cannot be helped such as sickness on the day.

- If you put yourself on the waitlist for an event, then please put that event in your diary with a note to yourself that you are on the waitlist. Then, if something else comes up, this should remind you to remove yourself from the waitlist.

We hope you enjoy participation in Ab Fab. Once you get to know a few people you may well come up with your own ideas for hosting an event, however this is entirely your choice - no pressure!
