Kia ora and welcome! Queer Auckland is a community meetup for LGBTQ+ people across Tāmaki Makaurau who are looking for connection, conversation, and good company. We’re proudly inclusive of everyone under the rainbow umbrella — all identities, all backgrounds, all ages (18+), all levels of “outness”, and all kinds of queer joy.

We run regular events like:

✨ Games nights (in person and online)
✨ Dinners and social catch-ups
✨ Random Events - Shows, Pride Week, Walks

Whether you’re brand new to Auckland or have been part of queer spaces for years, you’re welcome here. If you’re shy or still learning to feel comfortable in yourself, you’re in good company. This is a friendly, no-pressure space where you can show up as you are, take things at your own pace, and be met with warmth and acceptance.

This the OG Queer Auckland meetup that had >3500 members before we got accidentally deleted in December 2025.
