The Junction

This group is all about building a community of people who who are willing to meet "at the junction," a place where people from different faiths and walks of life, different cultures and languages, different families, personalities, ambitions, ages, vocations, etc. can all come together for meaningful conversations, social events*, and activities that foster friendship.*

We really want to offer people an enjoyable and safe place where being curious, asking honest and respectful questions is valued, where we show up as learners, restraining ourselves as we practice listening well and seeking understanding even though there may not be agreement. This is about sharing our human experiences -- not about debating or winning any arguments.

The key: we must lean into this with humility and respect because we are all human and all entitled to work through these differences, without pressure or coercion or fear of reprisal.
No arguing, criticizing, or cancelling others!

We're just getting started here in
Athlone, but we did this first in Limerick and we were just blown away by the rich and meaningful relationships that grew from our times together!
