This is a FREE support group for grieving pet parents struggling with the loss of their beloved furry companion. Each group is led by a licensed counselor specializing in bereavement. A licensed veterinarian is often in attendance to answer general questions about medical diseases, the euthanasia process, and hospice care. We always encourage our attendees to bring photos, videos, and pet belongings. This group is not just for pet parents that have lost a pet but also for those that are anticipating a loss. OnlinePassionate Paws Animal Hospital and Faithful Companion proudly present our pet grief support group, led by Dr. Clarrice King, a licensed therapist and fellow pet parent. Please feel free to share whatever feelings, stories, or troubles you may be experiencing with Dr. King and the group. This is a supportive and safe place with individuals who understand what it is to be a grieving pet parent. We are now offering a second monthly meeting to the group, which will allow for more scheduling flexibility for members as well as added support should anyone need more than just one meeting a month. We are also diligently working on providing more supportive resources through a brand new website and guest speakers at certain meetings. We will keep you all updated as to our progress.
