See all- Singles Comedy Museum Road TripNeeds location
On Saturday, 8/2/2025, we plan to visit and to tour the Red Skelton Museum of American Comedy at 20 West Red Skelton Boulevard, Vincennes, Indiana, 47591, which celebrates the life and legacy of one of America’s most popular comedians of the 1900s. The main exhibit for the Red Skelton Museum of American Comedy, “Red Skelton: A Legacy of Laughter”, is an approximately 3,500-square-foot, fully-interactive exhibit that looks at comedy through the lens of Red Skelton, a famous Hoosier, who was born in Vincennes, Indiana. Also, this museum honors the legacy of a man who touched numerous lives through his comedic talent, his great works, his compassion, and his commitment to public service. In addition, this museum covers Red's approximately 70-year career in comedy, radio programs, music, TV programs, and movies. Admission per person for the Red Skelton Museum of American Comedy is apparently $9 for most adults, $8 for any adult who is 60+, $6 for any College student, $6 for any child who is 5 through 18, and $0 for any child who is younger than 5. You can see additional information about the Red Skelton Museum of American Comedy at www.redskeltonmuseum.org . So, please meet us inside the lobby for the Red Skelton Museum of American Comedy at 20 West Red Skelton Boulevard, Vincennes, Indiana, 47591, on Saturday, 8/2/2025, at 2 pm EDT, and make some new friends in the process!
We encourage you to bring 1 or more single friends, each of whom is 20 or older, with you and we encourage you to bring each of your children and / or grandchildren, if any, with you. If you have any question about any part of this road trip, such as "is there any carpooling for this road trip and, if so, then where and by what time are we meeting for carpooling for this road trip?" or "after we depart the Red Skelton Museum of American Comedy, do we plan to visit a restaurant, to have a fellowship meal inside that restaurant, and, if so, then what are the name and address of that restaurant, and at approximately what time do we plan to arrive inside that restaurant?", then please send a message to Michael Tegeler (an organizer for the pages of CSI on facebook.com) on his profile on facebook.com, call Michael at 317-417-6377, or send a text message to Michael at 317-417-6377. Thank you. By the way, the indicated end time for this road trip is an estimate for the time that the members of CSI who participate in this road trip would depart the Red Skelton Museum of American Comedy on Saturday, 8/2/2025.
Note: The CSI ministry and meetup group has pages on meetup.com and on facebook.com, it is usually the case that each event for CSI with an announcement page on meetup.com also has an announcement page on facebook.com, and it is usually the case that the announcement page for each event for CSI on facebook.com has more RSVP Yeses than does the announcement page for the same event on meetup.com. So, the total number of RSVP Yeses for this fellowship event is more than the total number of RSVP Yeses on this announcement page.
