Singles Pennsylvania Biblical play, Tours, and Hikes Road Trip

On Wednesday, July 9, 2025 through Tuesday, July 15, 2025, we plan to engage in a road trip, in order to visit various places in Pennsylvania, especially places that are in or near Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Hershey, Pennsylvania, and Ricket Glen State Park, for various types of activities. So, please meet us in any meeting place for this road trip on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, or during the morning of Thursday, July 10, 2025, and make some new friends in the process!

Itinerary: On Wednesday, July 9, 2025, for those of us who do not reside in or near Goshen, Indiana, we plan to travel to Goshen, Indiana and spend that night in a motel in Goshen, Indiana. On Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 8:30 am EDT, we plan to depart our motel in Goshen, Indiana and travel to Lancaster, Pennsylvania and spend that night and the next 3 nights in a motel in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. It is apparently approximately a 9-hour drive from Goshen, Indiana to Lancaster, Pennsylvania. On Friday, July 11, 2025, we plan to explore Lancaster, Pennsylvania. At 7:00 pm EDT, we plan to watch a presentation of the Biblical play “NOAH” inside the Sight & Sound Theater in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The price of that presentation is apparently $89 per person. See one of the Bible’s most powerful stories in a grand scale! (Please contact Michael Tegeler if you want a ticket for that presentation.) Other fun places that we might visit in or near Lancaster, Pennsylvania include a Wolf Sanctuary, an Amish Experience Tour, Kreider Farms, Strasburg Railroad, Echo Caverns, and Lancaster Balloon Rides. On Saturday, July 12, 2025, we plan to explore Hershey, Pennsylvania (known as the "Sweetest Place on Earth"). First, we plan to visit Hershey's Chocolate World and take the Chocolate Tour of that facility. Next, we plan to visit Hersheypark, which apparently features more than 12 roller coasters. Next, we plan to visit Hershey Zoo America, which apparently has hundreds of animals. Other fun places that we might visit in or near Hershey, Pennsylvania include The Hershey Story Museum, Hershey Gardens, and Hershey Theatre. On Sunday, July 13, 2025, we plan to visit Ricket Glen State Park and hike the Falls Loop Trail. The Falls Trail System is located in the Glens Natural Area and contains a series of 21 free-flowing waterfalls that cascade through rock strewn cliffs. Waterfalls range in height from 11 feet to the 94-foot-tall Ganoga Falls! Each hiker should take extra precautions, wear proper footwear, stay on the Falls Loop Trail, and be in good physical condition. The full loop of the Falls Loop Trail has a total distance of approximately 7.2 miles, counting both the upper section and the lower section. To see most of the waterfalls, a 3.2-mile loop can be taken by hiking on the Highland Trail and the Glen Leigh and Ganoga Glen sides of the Falls Loop Trail. On Monday, July 14, 2025, we plan to depart our motel in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and return travel to Goshen, Indiana. During our return travel on Monday, July 14, 2025, we plan to stop in the town of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, which is known for its annual Groundhog Day event that usually occurs each year on February 2. For those of us who do not reside in or near Goshen, Indiana, we plan to spend the night of Monday, July 14, 2025 in a motel in Goshen, Indiana. On Tuesday, July 15, 2025, for those of us who do not reside in or near Goshen, Indiana, we plan to depart our motel in Goshen, Indiana and then return travel to our residences.
