Let us meet together to exercise together! On Saturday, 10/3/2026, we plan to visit Fort Benjamin Harrison State Park at 6000 North Post Road, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46216, to engage in 1 or more group hikes on 1 or more of the trails that are inside Fort Benjamin Harrison State Park. So, please enter Fort Benjamin Harrison State Park through its main entrance at 5900 North Post Road, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46216, and then please meet us at the Cherry Tree Shelter, where there apparently are modern restrooms, and that is inside Fort Benjamin Harrison State Park, on Saturday, 10/3/2026, at 10 AM EDT, and make some new friends in the process! Driving Directions from the main entrance to the Cherry Tree Shelter: Travel Northwest following the blue arrow to road junction # 1; turn Right at Road Junction # 1 and travel Northeastly along the red arrow and park in the “RR” parking area. We plan to gather at the Cherry Tree Shelter at the tip of the Red Arrow. Note: As we have had some interest from members of CSI that have some mobility challenges, we are planning to use 2 different routes: Group 1 would hike along Fall Creek Trail to the Duck Pond, then follow Camp Creek Trail to the parking area (about 2.5 miles). Estimate of duration for this group would be 3.5 hours. Group 2 would hike along a portion of Harrison Trace Trail that goes around Delaware Lake. This entire trail is relatively flat and much of it is paved. Estimated distance around Delaware Lake is probably about 0.5 miles. Estimate of duration for this group would depend upon how fast our friends with mobility issues are able to walk. Special Instructions: a) Please bring a water container. There might not be availability to fill your water container at a restroom area. b) Wear sturdy shoes or hiking boots, and dress appropriately for how your body works with the weather. c) Might be a good idea to pack a rain jacket, if you have one, just in case the weather forecast is wrong. d) There would be a short devotional and prayer time before we start our hikes. Contingency Planning: a) If anyone needs minor medical care, then a host for this fellowship event plans to have a first aid kit with him. b) If there are any medical emergencies, then people in our group can call 911 & apply first aid steps (if applicable). c) If anyone has allergies, then please bring a face mask and/or an epi pen and/or inhalers, and carry it or them with you.

The daily entrance fee for Fort Benjamin Harrison State Park is apparently $7 for any noncommercial vehicle with an Indiana license plate and is apparently $15 for any noncommercial vehicle with a license plate for any other state of the USA. You can see additional information about Fort Benjamin Harrison State Park, including a property map, at www.in.gov/dnr/state-parks/parks-lakes/fort-harrison-state-park .

We encourage you to bring 1 or more single friends, each of whom is 20 or older than 20, with you, and we encourage you to bring each of your children and / or grandchildren, if any, with you. The actual hosts of this fellowship event are apparently Michael Tegeler and another member of CSI with a first name of Michael. So, if you have any question about any part of this fellowship event, then please send a message to Michael Tegeler (an organizer for the pages of CSI on facebook.com) at his profile on facebook.com, or call Michael Tegeler at 317-417-6377, or send a text message to Michael Tegeler at 317-417-6377. Thank you. By the way, the indicated end time for this fellowship event is an estimate for the time that most or all of the people who attend this fellowship event would decide to depart Fort Benjamin Harrison State Park on Saturday, 10/3/2026.

Note: The CSI ministry and meetup group has pages on meetup.com and on facebook.com, it is usually the case that each event for CSI with an announcement page on meetup.com also has an announcement page on facebook.com, and it is usually the case that the announcement page for each event for CSI on facebook.com has more RSVP Yeses than does the announcement page for the same event on meetup.com. So, the total number of RSVP Yeses for this fellowship event is more than the total number of RSVP Yeses on this announcement page.
