Volunteer Opportunity: The Litter Gitter in the Matanzas Watershed

Details
Join St. Johns Regional Audubon (SJRA) as the Matanzas Riverkeeper's Litter Gitter takes us out to clean up wading bird habitat and feeding grounds. This trip is run in partnership between SJRA and the Matanzas Riverkeeper, which owns and operates the Litter Gitter. For this trip, we will leave from Genung's Fish Camp.
The event is limited to 8 volunteers. If you want to join our leader, Dave Wiinikainen, sign up via this Matanzas Riverkeeper link:
https://www.matanzasriverkeeper.org/lg_trip_20251008 (Genung’s).
Ignore the "RSVP Closed" on Meetup, The Riverkeeper link will let you know if the trip is full, and they can more efficiently notify you of any changes to the trip.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign the Audubon paper waiver, and so we're not waiting for you to launch on time.
We encourage you to consider joining the SJRA. You can join for as little as $15/year, which will help us continue and expand our work. To join the SJRA, follow this link: https://stjohnsaudubon.com/membership/
