I am so happy to announce this group now has a time to meet. I’ve had 9 months of challenges for myself and my parents. Things are on an upswing now, finally!

It is now time to start this fun rivet cycling group.

The Rotary Riverfront Trail is a flat, beautiful, addictive ride. It lends itself to all abilities from the new and casual to experienced.

The bike/walk trail spans outward in two opposite directions, starting from parking and the park situated in the middle of the ride . The smooth, flat path runs close along the Missouri River, the Amtrak/Freight lines and Front Street which is with small town great restaurants.

This is NOT the gravel, lonely Katy Trail on the far north side of the Missouri River. This path is right in downtown walkable Washimgton, MO.

Let me know which group you want to be in:

Group 1: “happy casuals”
who want to ride 7-8 mph, to enjoy the clouds and river scenes, while stopping along the way to sit on benches . About 3-4 miles

Group 2:
“Joyful mediums”
Those who are ready to ride a steady 10-12 mph and go 7-8 miles.

Group 3:
Strava riders
You know who you are 😁 but will only have time for about 9-10 miles.

All are welcome.
We can meet in the park ahead of time to meet each other and break up in groups.

Then, afterwards we can socialize and bring board games.
I will arrange for outsude tables at John G’s Beer Deck, which overlooks the river, we can set up tables of board games. Or if you prefer, you can just talk.
