Hike to Devil's Head Fire Lookout

THIS HIKE WILL BE HARD / Meet near CircleK in King Soopers parking lot.

Take in a spectacular 360 degree view from Devil's Head Fire Lookout.

Bring appropriate footwear, water, snacks and clothing. Weather can quickly change to cold or storms. This is a family friendly event and the pups are welcome as well!

This is a HARD hike based on the 1.5mile all uphill elevation change, loose dirt, steps and bonus 143 stairs at 9700ft. About 3mi total round trip.

This is an extremally popular trail and parking is limited. Carpooling is needed. If you are going to drive please have at least half a tank of gas.

1. Meet 6:45am near the CircleK in King Soopers parking lot on Baptist Rd (1070 W Baptist Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80921)
2. Look for gray Toyota 4Runner with flashing hazards.
3. Leave King Soopers at 6:55am for trailhead.
4. Drive about 40miles to trailhead. There is about 10 miles of dirt road to the parking lot (6500 S Rampart Range Rd, Sedalia, CO 80135).
