We do require golf players to be able to play the game. No beginners please!
The Guys and Girls Golf Group (GGGG) has now been running since November 2013.
We are affiliated with GolfWA and the group has been Public since January 1st 2021.
We will still be a social golf group but now we will offer membership that will give you third party insurance while playing golf. It will also enable you to get your golf link number with Golf Australia.
The group will have a yearly membership of $80. This lasts from the 1st January 2023 to the 31st December 2023. For new members we offer a trial period of 42 days (6 weeks) before we require you to pay the membership.
******From 1st August 2023 the GGGG will not take any new members. New members will be able to reapply at the beginning of 2024.*****
The membership money is for 3rd party insurance, Golf link number and GGGG membership.
The Guys and Girls Golf group has been running for the last 9 years (since November 2013) on Meetup and prior to this for 2 plus years on Facetime (Getalife).
All golf games will be prepaid so you will need to set up a Paypal account.
We want everyone to get a handicap – so that when we play our Ambrose competitions everyone is even – so anyone can win.
Members will need to know the rules of golf and take it seriously.
My main aim of making GGGG a Public golf group with GolfWA is that everyone is insured so if we have any accidents we are covered.
I started the group due to finding my golf clubs in the corner of my spare room, all dusty and neglected!!! My aim was to meet like-minded people with dusty clubs and get out and play!!! I hope all my members get to meet new people to play anytime they want!
I try and keep the group current and if members haven't played their 1-3 games or visited the site for 2 months I remove them from the group - sorry!
*****Refund Policy*****
As of Monday 3rd January 2023 - golf games purchased will be refunded
if you
1. have COVID and are in isolation.
or
2. feeling sick with a sore throat, cough - symptoms of COVID.
3. have taken your name off a game 5 days before the event eg take your name off on Tuesday for a Saturday game.
