Bitcoin for Beginners + Sparrow Wallet Demo

This will be a workshop for beginners and experienced users of Bitcoin.

For the first part of the workshop, the goal is to explain Bitcoin to people who are unfamiliar with it and also set beginners up with their first wallet.

We will discuss different wallet options, their tradeoffs, and also recovering a wallet from the seed words. The hope is to have active members of the meetup and other experienced users give their feedback and preferences on what works for them.

We will also do a demo of a desktop wallet called Sparrow Wallet. This is a wallet that has many advanced features but also has a simple interface that, in my opinion, teaches you a lot about how Bitcoin works as you use it.

We will finish up with any specific topics or discussions that attendees want to dive deeper into.

The format of this workshop will be informal and questions/feedback throughout is encouraged.
