What we’re about
This is a group for fun-loving people who want to give high-energy square dancing a try. It is an LGBTQ square dance club, and is open to everyone. We have two introductory nights (Open Houses) and then meet weekly to learn the basics of square dancing with other friends. Suncoast Squares is a group of dancers who are serious about having fun while we dance. We are hosting Open Houses on Monday, Sept. 8 and Monday, September 15. No previous dance experience is necessary. We dress in casual attire (including comfortable shoes). Come as a couple or as a single. The first lesson is free and lessons are $5 a week after that (the fee pays for our venue and caller). We meet at Allendale UMC, 3803 Haines Road North, Saint Pete.33703, from 7:00 until 8:30 (Enter from the parking lot in the rear).
