Psychedelic science has gained significant momentum over the past decade, emerging as one of the most promising avenues for addressing mental health challenges across the globe. While this therapeutic use is increasingly legitimised by the biomedical establishment, community-based and traditional uses are often sidelined or even criminalised.
What are the greatest challenges faced by the psychedelic medicine movement? How do psychedelics work to treat mental health problems?
In this talk, we will explore the history of psychedelics, their therapeutic foundations, and the diverse ways they are used—both in clinical settings and in broader sociocultural contexts. We will also reflect on strategies for fostering coexistence and dialogue between these different perspectives.

**Important: Tickets 15 Euros - Sign Up on Eventbrite Here!**
For decades, we've witnessed an unprecedented era of economic globalisation, with goods flowing freely across borders and the emergence of complex global supply chains. This system fuelled economic growth and kept prices low for consumers worldwide.
But are we now witnessing the end of this era? With the United States imposing significant tariffs and trading partners preparing their responses, are we entering a new phase of international economic relations?President Donald Trump's return to the White House has intensified this shift, as his administration has doubled down on "America First" trade policies. His willingness to engage in direct confrontation with both allies and economic competitors have fundamentally reshaped the global economic conversation.
Join us as we examine a few critical questions:- How might our economic world reshape itself?
- Are we facing the end of globalisation as we know it?
- What motivations lie behind these new tariff policies?
- Do negative current accounts truly indicate that foreign competition is "stealing" jobs and prosperity?
