My Fine Yarn: For Yarn Lovers hosts Yarn Up to provide casual crochet and knit learning opportunities in an inclusive group, sharing interests of the yarn community, celebrating works in progress for each other and stopping the world for a quiet meal, time to visit and to work our yarn. Victoria Thompson started My Fine Yarn as a vehicle to make natural, sustainable, humane, community-supportive, eco-wise fibers available to Yarnies who want to hold the yarn before buying. See it, touch it, compare it, before spending on the yarn: not something available online. A yarn "tasting" may be provided, however yarn for sale will only be available on private request before or after, and is not a feature of the Meet Up. Come learn, come teach, come talk and enjoy our hobbies! It is that simple. As my Grandmother said no politics or religion at the dining table please. This is a kind, no pressure zone.
