Our Lady of Guadalupe celebration.

Location: Our Lady of Guadalupe church in Oxnard. After the 12pm English Mass, Mexican food and prayer dances ( Mexican Indejenous prayer dance style) will be held in the church parking lot. (Look for parking along Camino del Sol Rd and Juanita st.)
Our Lady of Guadalupe is the name given to the Virgin Mary who appeared to Juan Diego, a Native Mexican convert to Catholicism, in December 1531. She asked Juan Diego to deliver a message to the Bishop in her son's behalf. Asking him to built a church in her honer, with the name of Guadalupe.
