About us
# Welcome to Our Depression Support & Guided Journaling Meetup!
Join us for a welcoming, faith-centered space where we explore emotional wellness, inner peace, and personal growth through guided journaling sessions, Christian reflection, meditation, and meaningful conversation.
Our gatherings invite you to slow down, acknowledge your thoughts without judgment, and make space for your emotions. Through guided journaling prompts and practical self-reflection exercises, you'll learn how to organize your thoughts, explore your feelings, recognize unhelpful patterns, and discover healthier ways to respond to life's challenges.
Each guided journaling session offers an opportunity to reflect on your experiences, process stress and frustration, practice gratitude, and identify small steps toward personal growth. Whether you're navigating depression, feeling overwhelmed by the unknown, struggling with negative thoughts, or simply seeking a peaceful moment to reconnect with yourself and God, you'll have space to learn and grow at your own pace.
Together, we'll explore:
- Guided Journaling: Use thoughtful prompts to acknowledge emotions, organize your thoughts, and gain clarity.
- Christian Reflection: Incorporate faith, prayer, and spiritual encouragement into your personal growth journey.
- Emotional Wellness: Explore practical ways to manage stress, recognize thought patterns, and respond to difficult emotions.
- Mindfulness & Self-Care: Discover simple practices that encourage calm, intentional living and everyday well-being.
- Connection & Encouragement: Build supportive relationships in a welcoming environment where you can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable sharing.
- Personal Growth: Reflect on lessons learned, recognize progress, and identify meaningful next steps.
You don't need to be an experienced journaler or have everything figured out to participate. Bring an open mind, a willingness to reflect, and a journal if you have one. You'll be guided through exercises designed to help you make sense of your thoughts and recognize the growth taking place in your life.
Our belief is simple: You don't have to have all the answers to begin healing, and every small step forward matters.
Come as you are. Let's create space for honest reflection, spiritual encouragement, emotional wellness, and evidence of growth—one guided journaling session at a time.
Please note: This Meetup offers peer connection, guided reflection, and wellness support. It is not a substitute for professional mental health treatment.

Meetup Event: Depression, Reflection & Hope — A Guided Journaling Session
·OnlineOnlineHave you ever felt overwhelmed by your thoughts, discouraged by your circumstances, or frustrated because you cannot see how far you have come?
Join us for a supportive, guided journaling session focused on depression, emotional reflection, hope, and personal growth.
Depression can make it difficult to recognize progress, appreciate accomplishments, or believe that things can improve. This gathering creates space to slow down, acknowledge what you are experiencing without judgment, and reflect on the small steps that may be getting overlooked.
Using the Evidence of Growth Journal approach, we will explore how writing can help us organize our thoughts, identify feelings, challenge harsh self-criticism, and recognize moments of resilience in our everyday lives.
During our session, we will:- Make space for our thoughts: Write freely about what has been weighing on our minds.
- Acknowledge our feelings: Identify what we are experiencing without judging ourselves for feeling that way.
- Recognize negative self-talk: Notice when our thoughts overlook our efforts, strengths, or progress.
- Reframe our experiences: Practice looking at ourselves with greater compassion and honesty.
- Look for evidence of growth: Identify small moments of perseverance, courage, self-care, connection, or positive change.
- Leave with a reflection: Identify one gentle, realistic step we can take after the session.
## What to Bring
- A journal or notebook and a pen, or a digital journaling worksheet.
- An open mind and a willingness to reflect at your own pace.
- A quiet, comfortable space where you can participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable.
You do not need to be an experienced journaler. You are welcome whether you want to write, listen, or simply take a moment for yourself.
## Who Should Attend?
This gathering is for adults who want a supportive space to reflect on difficult emotions, practice self-compassion, and reconnect with hope through guided journaling.
You do not have to share personal details with the group. Your participation is your choice, and you are encouraged to respect the privacy and experiences of others.## A Note About Support
This is a peer-oriented journaling and personal reflection gathering, not psychotherapy or a substitute for professional mental health care. You are welcome here as you are, and you do not have to pretend to be okay.
Our reminder: You may not see all the ways you are moving forward. Sometimes, growth begins with simply acknowledging what you are going through and giving yourself permission to take the next step.
