Concerts in The Park - South City Revival!

It's the Ravinia of the southwest side-located in Joliet!
Come join us at the beautiful Preservation Park, right across from St. Francis College. Nothing more enjoyable than live music outside! Join us when you can for their Summer concert series!
DATE: Friday, August 15, 2025 - South City Revival:a workingman’s band from Chicago, IL. Drawing on the energy and story-telling from the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Brooks & Dunn, Tom Petty, and Steve Earle, listeners are immersed in a landscape filled with abandoned steel mills, sticky bar floors and rusted out Chevys - country rock.
TIME: 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm (or dusk)
LOCATION: Preservation Park, 710 Taylor Street (Wilcox & Taylor), Joliet, IL 60435
**bring a lawn chair & your favorite beverage along with a picnic basket of goodies/snacks to share (in the past Cemeno's Pizza has been there with pizza slices to purchase)
**plan on arriving about 6:00 pm to secure parking
**look for Mary (your host) with the American flag tied to her chair, she will be sitting closer to the parking lot area, across from the playground
**clean/sanitized port-a-potties
**check this posting if there is a chance of inclement weather
