Concerts in The Park - Joliet Jakes

It's the Ravinia of the southwest side-located in Joliet!
Come join us at the beautiful Preservation Park, right across from St. Francis College. Nothing more enjoyable than live music outside! Join us when you can for their Summer concert series!

DATE: Friday, September 18, 2026- ​A R&B/Soul Band from Joliet performing the music of the Blues Brothers Band along with STAX RECORDING ARTISTS such as Wilson Pickett, Otis Reading and Sam & Dave.
Come join us and groove!

TIME: 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm (or dusk)
LOCATION: Preservation Park, 710 Taylor Street (Wilcox & Taylor), Joliet, IL 60435
**bring a lawn chair & your favorite beverage along with a picnic basket of goodies/snacks to share (in the past Cemeno's Pizza has been there with pizza slices to purchase)
**plan on arriving about 6:00 pm to secure parking
**look for Mary (your host) with the American flag tied to her chair, she will be sitting closer to the parking lot area, across from the playground
**clean/sanitized port-a-potties
**check this posting if there is a chance of inclement weather
**you MUST check in with your event host, we want to enjoy the show with you & how else will we know that you arrived safely?
