Coffee in the Forest

It's pretty simple

We'll head out to the forest, light a fire, hang the kettle over it and talk. No ceremonies, no robes, no role play.

For nearly a million years men have come together in this way to sort out their problems, make plans, laugh and share views.
That's why we're doing it.

Welcome to Beyond the Mancave! Its group for men who want to have thoughtful conversations and chill out with other guys and we welcome men of all ages, faiths, backgrounds and outlooks.

We'll be making tea and coffee but if you want to bring anything else please do - no booze though.

Cathkin Braes is a beauutiful piece of ancient woodland and its got some magnificent views. We'll meet in the main carpark just south west of the wind turbine (please see map). I drive a white pickup truck with a green pine tree logo on it. You'll find me right next to it.

Yes absolutely

What should I bring?
Seasonally appropriate clothing.

Will I have to talk about myself?
I'll ask you to introduce yourself but you can leave it at that if you want. No one gets put on the spot or asked to talk about things they don't want to.

Do you have a political/ religious/ideological agenda?
No, but that's not to say we won't touch on subjects like politics, religion, ideology. Please respect other members right to an opinion and please be nice!
