Hiking & Fun “Pueblo Medieval” Buitrago de Lozoya – May 19th

Descubramos juntos el lado divertido de Madrid visitando estos lugares increíbles en compañía de personas interesantes que viven en Madrid. Podremos hablar otros idiomas y disfrutar de la naturaleza.

Esta vez iremos de excursión a Buitrago de Lozoya, otra ciudad medieval con una de las mejores murallas de España y Europa, además de algunas rutas y vistas increíbles. Caminaremos casi todo el recorrido bajo la sombra de un bosque de pinos, parte del camino junto al río Lozoya, y visitaremos un mirador desde donde admirar la muralla medieval al completo de la ciudad, sus calles y su castillo.

En medio de la excursión, haremos un picnic para descansar, comer y disfrutar de las vistas junto al río. Antes de regresar a Madrid, también podremos disfrutar de una bebida en una de las terrazas del pueblo.
Esta es una ruta de nivel fácil, de aproximadamente 14 km, por lo que todos son bienvenidos.

1. Lleva un par de zapatos de senderismo o zapatillas cómodas.
2. Cada persona debe llevar al menos 1,5 l. de agua.
3. Lleva suficiente comida. Bocadillos, frutas, etc.

Let’s discover together the other fun side of Madrid by visiting these incredible places with interesting people living in Madrid. We will be able to speak other languages and enjoy the nature.

This time we go hiking to Buitrago de Lozoya, another medieval town with one of the best walled enclosures in Spain and Europe and some routes and incredible views. We will walk almost the entire route under the shade of a pine forest, we will walk part of the way next to the Lozoya river, we will go to the viewpoint from an ideal point to admire the medieval wall of the city and its streets.

In the middle of the tour, we will have a picnic to rest, eat and enjoy views next to the river. Before we leave to Madrid, we can enjoy a drink in one of the terraces of the town as well.

This is an easy level route, of about 14km, therefore anyone is welcome.
