(ignore the attendee limit, I'm on the free plan so I can only have upto 10 people per event here, but feel free to join anyways.)
NOTE: Bring a laptop/tablet/iPad. You can also play using your phone, but it can be finicky and harder.
Come join us as we play a couple rounds of GeoGuessr at Central Market on North Lamar! Meet new people, learn more about the game and the world, and most importantly, have a fun time with other geography enthusiasts.
What is GeoGuessr?
GeoGuessr is an online game where you are dropped somewhere around the world via Google Street View, and you try to figure out (based on your surroundings) where exactly in the world you are.
I have a pro account, so you do not need an active GeoGuessr subscription to play. (I'll create a party, and y'all can join then). There is no experience with the game required, and we'll be happy to teach you how the game works. There's no problem with being late, you'll just likely have to wait for the next game, or team up with somebody for the round.
