Sunday Fire Circle
Details
### ๐ฅ Sunday Fire Circle โ Queen's Beach Park (by Barefoot Beach Cafe)
Always free. Always open to watchers. No pressure, no cost โ just come.
End your weekend the way it deserves to end. We gather on the grass at Queen's Beach Park, right by Barefoot Beach Cafe, where the sun sets behind Waikiki and the ocean keeps time. Grab a coffee or a bite from Barefoot, find a soft patch of grass, and settle in.
This is O'ahu's cross-disciplinary movement arts community โ fire dancers, poets, musicians, DJs, yogis, holistic facilitators, and friends. Come spin. Come share a piece. Come stretch, drum, sing, or just witness the circle come alive against the dusk.
The Flow of the Night
- One hour before sunset โ Classes & skill shares. Beginner-friendly intros to poi, staff, fans, and safe spinning. Props to borrow, teachers ready.
- Sunset โ The circle opens. Fire goes up, music comes on, the night begins. If you aren't spinning fire you are encouraged to dance to the music regardless!
- 9 PM โ Last burn. We pack out together.
What to Bring (if you're spinning)
- Natural fiber clothing (cotton or wool โ no synthetics near flame)
- Water + a layer for after dark
- Your prop, instrument, mic, or mat
- A small light for setup and breakdown
Just watching? Bring yourself. Maybe a blanket. That's it.
Before You Spin: Sign the Waiver
