Lunch at The Anchor

The Anchor is an institution serving lunch and dinner on one side and the bar on the other. They recently took down their handwritten daily specials. Although most of us only ordered off of that. There are still daily specials.

Many people love their pizza you can get a bar pie, which is kind of a single serving size or perhaps two people. They are known for their delMonaco steak. If you have a hankering for beef, this is the day to indulge. All that and the seafood is also great. I’m always secretly hoping that the chef feels like making some seafood in a champagne sauce… Yum!
